Which one do I want?
Stable, unless you want new features as soon as they are ready and do not mind the occasional broken one. It is the version that gets tested before it ships.
Nightly updates almost every day, so you get fixes and new features first, and new bugs first too.
They install as separate apps with separate libraries, so you can keep Stable and try Nightly beside it without touching what you already have. Nothing needs uninstalling. To carry your reading across, back up in one and restore in the other.
