Reikai 0.2.0

Jul 6, 2026

Additions

  • Track your reading with MDList. Sign in from Settings > Tracking, then bind a title and its follow status and rating stay in sync with your account, the same way the other trackers work.
  • One of the most-used manga sources now shows full details on its entries. Author, artist, status, description, a star rating with its score, and namespaced tags (demographic, content rating, genres) now come from the source's own data instead of a bare listing.
  • Browse the manga you follow on MDList and add them to your library. Once you're signed into MDList, tap the new Follows button in that source's Browse filter to see your follows and add them, one or many at once.
  • Add many titles to your library at once. Tap Select in Browse, global search, or a recommendations "See all" grid to pick several and add them together; long-press still adds one.
  • Sync your MDList library both ways from one screen. A new settings screen imports every title you follow on MDList into your library, filtered by follow status, and pushes your library titles back to your account as reading.
  • Jump to a random title on one of the most-used manga sources. Open that source's Browse filter and tap Random for a surprise pick.

Fixes

  • Cover-based theming now tints a title the first time you open it. Previously the cover's accent color only appeared after a title was in your library and the app had been reopened; now it shows on first open when browsing, for both manga and novels.
  • The themed app icon now shows the logo instead of a shapeless blob (thanks @Orifarius). With Material You themed icons enabled, the home screen icon keeps the letter and flame detail in your wallpaper's colors.

Other

  • Synced two upstream Mihon fixes: the app no longer crashes when sent to the background (replacing Reikai's earlier local notes-screen workaround), and storage folders served by non-system file providers (some cloud-storage and file-manager apps) work again.
